Young and the Restless Spoilers July 4: Victor Targets Jack
Will Diane be the one to put it to an end?
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 4, ignite fireworks outside the holiday when Victor announces, “No more Mr. Nice Guy!” This time, he’s in it to win it where Jack is concerned.
Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
All the pieces are in place: Kyle (Michael Mealor) quit Jabot and came to work for Victor (Eric Braeden) — secretly, of course. He and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) will use Glissade to bludgeon Jack (Peter Bergman).
Meanwhile, Adam (Mark Grossman) will eventually give in and obey what his always-loving father wants and do the same to Jack via Newman Media. Nothing will get in Victor’s way! Because, certainly, Jack will never fight back. Not when he knows he doesn’t stand a chance. (Did Victor make a big blunder?)
I Blame You
But even if Victor is convinced Jack could never stand up to him, he has to know Diane (Susan Walters) is more than capable of going for his jugular vein. That’s why he’s working so hard to rattle her confidence in her position at Jabot.
Victor wants Diane to feel like she is solely responsible for the schism between Jack and Kyle. He wants Jack to turn on his wife — so the person who could defend Jack against Victor is neutralized.
Let’s Remember the Bad Times
Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) were never anything but toxic together. They bring out the worst in each other. Is it any surprise Connor (Judah Mackey) is having trouble navigating the world when the two adults he looks up to have never been able to do it either?
But now that Connor is seemingly being exploited by a sketchy therapeutic boarding school, Adam and Chelsea have only each other to hold onto — mostly because they’ve made it that way. So, of course, after sobbing about Connor, it’s only natural that they kiss — for Connor. They’re being supportive!
