Days of Our Lives Spoilers Tuesday, June 4 Recap: Ava Impersonates Goldman to Trick Clyde, Harris Races to Prevent Fatality

Ava finally decided she should just get revenge since Goldman nearly cost Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) his life.

Although Ava held a gun on Goldman, Lucas convinced her to put it down since he didn’t want to be an accessory and extend his prison sentence.

Ava found Goldman’s phone in the glove compartment of her car soon after, so she looked at Clyde’s texts for clues.

Lucas helped Ava figure out that Clyde was at the Happy Camper Campground nearby, so Ava took Goldman’s outfit and left Lucas to babysit her.

At the pub on Tuesday’s Days episode, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) called the monastery to check on Lucas and learned that a blue-eyed man with a tattoo came to get him.

Kate knew that had to be Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and fumed over him potentially putting Lucas in more danger.

Once Kate finally got Lucas on the phone, he admitted they were closing in on Clyde and tried to reassure his mom that it’d all work out.

Meanwhile, Harris tried to convince Snake (Rene D’Nava) to cut a deal and flip on Clyde, but he refused to be a rat.

After Harris grabbed Snake’s phone and did some investigating about the location, he released Snake had made frequent trips to the Happy Camper Campground.

Back with Ava on Tuesday’s DOOL show, she showed up at the campsite wearing Goldman’s clothes.

Ava’s back was turned, so Clyde was fooled and thought Goldman was back to leave town with him.

Instead, Ava ultimately revealed herself and drew her weapon before admitting she planned to take Clyde out permanently.

Suddenly, Harris raced over and stopped Ava from pulling the trigger.

Back in Salem on Tuesday’s Days episode, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) admired Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) engagement ring and wished her the best in her remarriage to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) – though she clearly had some personal doubts about their future together.

Xander understood those concerns, but he assured Kayla that he was only focused on being a good husband and father now.

After Kayla left on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sarah mentioned the idea of inviting Xander’s mother to the wedding, but he argued that she was an unrepentant drunk who’d be hard to find.

Sarah insisted she could track Xander’s mom down, but she refused to do it without his approval.

Xander finally relented, but he reserved the right to say “I told you so” if this was an enormous disaster like he clearly expected.

Once Xander gave Sarah the last known number for his mother, she was pleased and hoped to locate her before the nuptials.

At Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) apartment, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) demanded Clyde updates and found out the search was heating up in Montana, so he insisted on taking the trip with Steve.

Kayla showed up right as Steve and Chad were leaving, so she objected to the trip.

Once Chad headed to the airfield to prepare for the DiMera jet, Steve got an earful from Kayla.

Kayla scolded Steve for trying to leave for Montana without telling her and became alarmed over him potentially trying to help Ava wipe Clyde off the map.

After Kayla refused to lose Steve again, she angrily stood against this dangerous situation and begged him not to go.

Steve agreed to stay in Salem right before Chad texted with the news that he took off for Montana without him.
