Y&R’s Joshua Morrow Shares a Special Message With His Fans

Joshua Morrow

As Joshua Morrow marked his 30th anniversary playing Nick on The Young & The Restless, the soap celebrated with a very special episode looking back at the character’s dramatic life in Genoa City that aired on June 21.

While Morrow isn’t very active on social media, this was such a special occasion that he made one of his rare posts on Twitter/X! “I just wanted to throw a big thanks for the outpouring of support and love from my 30th!” he wrote to his loyal fans. “It’s been truly a magical ride and my deep appreciation for you guys is massive. Thanks for sticking with me and your boy, Nick. I love playing him, and it’s been an incredible honor!”

After being played by twins and child actors, Nick was rapidly aged in 1994 when the character returned home from boarding school as a teenager, with Morrow stepping into the role of Victor and Nikki’s son. During his time with the soap, Morrow has received five Daytime Emmy Award nominations.

Morrow actually first auditioned for Y&R’s sister soap, The Bold & the Beautiful, but lost the role of Dylan to Dylan Neal. This led him to read for the part of Nick on Y&R, and the rest is history! It’s hard to imagine Genoa City without Nicholas Newman, and thankfully, we don’t have to!

Please join us in congratulating Morrow on three decades in daytime, and here’s to many, many more!
