Also coming up, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be caught off guard. Plus, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will take a Ferris wheel ride with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell). And Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will have a change of heart.

Y&R spoilers tease Michael will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) she looks great. She’ll say she’s grateful to Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and owes her a long, expensive, lunch.

“How about now?” Michael will ask. Nikki will admit she’s starving. “Then let’s do it,” Victor will reply. Michael will say he’ll make a reservation and call Lauren. Then he’ll make up an excuse that he needs to finish some contracts and say he’ll meet them at Society.

At the tack house, Cole will come to Victoria’s door. He’ll tell her he’s sorry he bailed on their lunch. Then he’ll get a text from Michael. “Stay close. This could happen fast.” So, he’ll tell Victoria and Claire he may have to get going again. Claire will think he’s been called back to Oxford and she selfishly doesn’t want him to go.

“England is not on my radar right now,” Cole will say. “I have no intention of leaving you guys anytime soon.” He’ll lie and say the call was about extending his sabbatical. “Are you okay?” Victoria will ask. “You seem pretty jumpy right now.” Claire will suggest she’d like a riding lesson and maybe both of them could give her one now.

Cole will agree to it but he’ll get another text from Michael. So, he’ll say he has something he has to take care of and he’ll tell them to go down to the stables and he’ll meet them there. But Victoria will be suspicious.

At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will tell Summer he thinks Harrison should get to spend some time with Claire. “You sound exactly like Kyle,” Summer will snap. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will assure her daughter it’s not their call, it’s hers and she shouldn’t feel pressured.

But Nick will say he doesn’t think her issue is about Claire, it’s her. “I think you’re taking out all this built up anger and rage on Claire because you can’t take it out on the real villain here, which is Jordan.” He’ll say he had his doubts, but doesn’t think Claire is a threat.

Then Nikki and Victor will arrive. They’ll greet Nick and Summer and Victor will get a phone notification. He’ll say he needs to go, right away. After he leaves, Nikki will say Victor had some business issue he had to deal with. Summer will tell Nikki she looks like she’s glowing and Phyllis will ask what her secret is. “Alcoholism,” Nikki will reply.

Phyllis will be shocked but then Nikki will say her drinking had gotten out of control and she just got back from rehab. Phyllis will say it’s great that she took care of herself. “Congratulations,” she’ll add. “Welcome home.”

Meanwhile, Harrison will see a woman at Chancellor Park with short, dark brown hair and think it’s the witch. But she’ll walk by and he’ll realize it isn’t her. Kyle will tell his son the witch is gone and won’t ever hurt him, or Claire, again. Then Harrison will ask why Summer doesn’t like Claire.

Kyle will ask why he thinks that. “She’s not as nice,” Harrison will reply. “Maybe she thinks I like Claire more than her.” He’ll add that Claire’s his friend but he loves mommy. Harrison will suggest they invite Claire to the carnival. So, Kyle will call Claire and invite her to go with them. When Claire shows up, they’ll take a ride on the Ferris wheel.

Then Summer will come along and Kyle will say they just went on the Ferris wheel. “Seeing her safe makes him happy for some reason,” he’ll exclaim. Summer will smile. “Claire, thank you for being there for Harrison,” she’ll say. Then she’ll agree to give her a try as Harrison’s new  nanny.

Back at the ranch, Cole will show up and open the secret panel for he and Michael. But as they walk inside, they’ll set off an alarm without realizing it. When they walk into the dungeon, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will ask Cole why he abandoned her. And she’ll want to know why the Newman lawyer is there.

“There was a part of me that wanted to let you rot down here forever,” Cole will tell his aunt. Jordan will be relieved when Michael says they’re going to move her to a real prison. “I’ll be damned if I allow that to happen,” Victor will exclaim, as he walks in. But what is Victor going to do?
