Young And The Restless Scoop June 12: Victor Wants Adam To Help Him Destroy An Enemy – Sally Asks Summer To Consider Hiring Chloe

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, June 12 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) he needs someone as ruthless as he is.

Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will ask Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to head up Newman Media. Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be surprised by Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck). And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make a suggestion to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Y&R spoilers tease Adam will tell Sally he hates bringing his family problems to her. But she’ll tell him it’s okay, she wants to be his sounding board. There’ll be a knock on the door but Adam won’t want to answer. However, Sally will say she’s expecting someone. Adam will finally answer the door and Summer will be standing there.

After Adam leaves, Summer will say she went over the draft designs that Sally finished up. “I’m impressed,” she’ll add. “It’s really good work, Sally.” Then Sally will say she ran the designs past Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who suggested some of the finishing touches.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Claire And Kyle Discuss Cole’s Strange Invite

Summer will make a face and say Chloe turned every disagreement they had into an all-out war. Plus, she thought she knew better than everyone else. But Sally will still suggest bringing Chloe in as her in as her number two. “I really don’t want conflict right now,” Summer will say. But Sally will plead with her to give Chloe another chance. So, Summer will tell her she’ll consider it.

Meanwhile, Kyle, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) will go for ice cream at the park. Claire will spot Cole, who will walk over and make some small talk. “I was thinking maybe you and I could get together, go out and grab a beer,” he’ll tell Kyle awkwardly. And Kyle will say a beer sounds great.

Claire will ask  her dad if he’s going to stay for ice cream but he’ll say he has to go home to get ready. He’s having dinner with her mother. When he leaves, Kyle will wonder why Cole wants to spend time with him, he hardly knows the guy.

The trio will return to the Abbott estate and Summer will be there, hoping to take Harrison to the park for ice cream. But the boy will tell her he was just there. “Thanks for the best day ever!” Harrison will say to Claire, as he heads upstairs. Claire will leave and Kyle will ask if Summer is still struggling with this.

“I don’t have a problem with Claire,” she’ll reply. “How could I object to someone who makes Harrison so happy.” However, she’ll admit it hurts a little that her little boy is bonding with Claire and just said he had the best day ever.

At the ranch, Nikki will tell Victor he’s still angry about her choosing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as her sponsor. “I hold that man responsible for the recklessness and foolishness,” he’ll reply. “But I’m not punishing you.” However, Nikki won’t see it that way and she’ll storm out.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki And Victoria Badmouth Adam

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ask Victor why he’s so intent on moving Adam back to Newman Media. They’re finally working as brothers but now he wants to switch it all up. “I want you to talk to Victoria,” Victor will reply. “You’ve got to trust me on this.”

Nikki will end up at the tack house and Victoria will complain about Victor trying to get her to come back to Newman Enterprises. She’ll say she turned him down. “But the more that I think about it, I have to admit I am a little tempted.” Then Nikki will ask Victoria if she could fill in for her at Newman Media. She certainly doesn’t want it to be Adam. And of course, Victoria will agree.

“I need stability, I need routine,” Nikki will continue. “And all I’m getting from your father is family drama.” Then Nick will come to the door and Victoria will ask him what he thinks their dad is up to. But Nick doesn’t know.

“It just doesn’t make sense to switch gears right now,” he’ll reply. “Adam and I are finally functioning as a team.” Nikki will turn to Victoria and ask her again to consider heading Newman Media in her absence.

Finally, Victor will run into Adam at Society. He’ll ask why he’s considering the CEO position at Newman Media a demotion, because it isn’t. Then Adam will tell him to cut to the chase, because it’s the only way he’ll ever consider his proposition.

So, The Mustache will say what he’s about to tell him has to stay between them. “You cannot reveal it to anyone.” And Adam will agree to keep it quiet. “You’re an ally, not a pawn,” Victor will reveal. “I need Newman Media to destroy an enemy. That means I need someone in charge of Newman Media who is as ruthless as I am.”
