Young And The Restless Scoop June 11: Nikki Learns Victor Wants To Replace Her With Adam At Newman Media – Michael Advises Cole To Follow Victor’s Orders

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, June 11 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will ask her husband if he’s punishing her.

Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will summon Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to the ranch. And Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) will advise Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) to do Victor’s bidding.

Y&R spoilers tease Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will tell Nikki she looks beautiful and healthy. Nikki will say rehab has worked and she’s feeling confident. Lauren will add she has the world’s most devoted sponsor ever. But Nikki will say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) can’t be her sponsor anymore and she thinks it’s because of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Y&R Daily Scoop – Lauren Can’t Step In For Nikki Indefinitely

Talk will turn to Newman Media and Nikki will say she expects to return full time in a few months. However, she doesn’t expect Lauren to stay on that long, so she’s going to ask Victoria to step in until she returns. “She is the perfect person to do it,” Nikki will add. “And she is the only one I would trust with that responsibility.”

At the ranch, Victor will ask Cole and Michael if they’re going to do as he asked. But before they can answer, Victoria will arrive. “What did I just walk in on?” she’ll ask. So, Victor will lie and say they were discussing the security protocol at Jordan’s (Collen Zenk) prison.

Cole and Michael will leave and end up at the GCAC bar. “To another day of surviving Victor’s wrath,” Michael will say, raising his glass. Then he’ll advise Cole to agree to Victor’s request. But Cole will wonder how Michael will proceed with Diane. “I will grant Victor’s request by spending time with a good friend,” he’ll reply.

Back at Newman ranch, Adam and Nick will arrive. “We’re all here, what bomb are you about to drop?” Adam will ask. But Victor will say he just wants to talk about Newman. And he’ll ask Victoria if she’s considered returning. But Victoria will say she’s not sure she ever wants come back. She’s got Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to focus on. Plus, Johnny and Katie are coming home soon and she wants to be available for her kids.

But Nick will ask what role Victoria would have. “If Victoria comes back I’m probably going to end up in the men’s room,” Adam will comment. “When it is convenient, I am the first one to get shoved aside.” Of course, Victoria will role her eyes at Adam. But Victor will say they could all work together.

“What we’re talking about here son, is that I put you back as the head of Newman Media.” Adam will be shocked, saying he and Nick are a solid team. He’ll also wonder if Victor’s unhappy with the work he’s done at Newman Enterprises.

However, Victor’s plan could be moot anyhow, because Victoria will say she’s not ready to come back. Then she’ll say she thinks Adam should stay on and run Newman with Nick and Nikki should remain at Newman Media. Then Victoria and Adam will leave.

Adam, will return home and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will ask him what’s up. He’ll tell her Victor floated the idea of him taking over Newman Media again. Sally will say it could be a good thing. But Adam will ask what will happen if and when Nikki wants to return. “No matter how many times I prove myself to him, he just sees me as a tool, to be used.”

Meanwhile, once he and Victor are alone, Nick will ask his father why he seems to be reversing course. Victor will say he doesn’t want Nikki to fall off the wagon. But Nick will tell his father he needs to ask Nikki what she wants. So, Victor will ask Nick to encourage Victoria to come back to the family company. However, Nick will say he thinks he should think this through.

“Think what through?” Nikki will ask, as she walks in. So, Nick will fill her in about Victor wanting Victoria to come back. However, Nikki will say she just met with Lauren, who can’t fill in for her at Newman Media indefinitely. “I want to ask Victoria to do it.” Nick will say he likes it and it’s a more viable plan. “More viable than what?” Nikki will ask.

Finally, Nick will tell his mother that Victor is thinking about installing Adam in her place, which won’t sit well with Nikki, at all. “Why would you choose Adam over Victoria?” Nikki will ask. “If you put Adam in there, he’ll fall in love with the power, he’ll never wanna leave.”

But then a lightbulb will go off in her head. Nikki will say she knows how upset Victor was, when she chose Jack as her sponsor, twice. “Tell me the truth, are you punishing me for that?”
