New Year, New Character

According to Deadline, Owens joins the Y&R cast in the new year. Details about Owens’ character remain shrouded in mystery. Look for his arrival in Genoa City to be filled with both intrigue and excitement.

There’s good news if you’re anxious to see the actor back on your small screens because you won’t have to wait too long. You can see Owens on the top-rated CBS daytime drama starting January 8.

Perhaps Owens will end up being Nate’s (Sean Dominic) half-brother. Recently, Nate helped Amy (Valarie Pettiford) track down Damian after she unexpectedly came to him for help. The doctor-turned-businessman managed to confirm that the previously unknown sibling was indeed his brother.

Of course, given that Y&R didn’t release lots of details about Owens’ new role, there’s always the possibility that he’s somebody else. What do you hope to see from Owens once his new character lands in Genoa City? Let us know in the comments.
