They suggest that Alan might have a doppelganger who’s causing Ashley’s trauma.
Ashley’s past link to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and her return to Genoa City play a crucial role in this storyline on YR. Tucker happens to be in Paris. So, he is dealing with a coup by Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at his company, Glaad. The plot thickens when Tucker encounters a man who looks like Alan. But he acts entirely differently, hinting at the possibility of an evil twin on Young and the Restless.
This twist could be an homage to a mid-nineties storyline where Ashley was deceived by an evil twin. Also, this lead her to flee to Paris. So, fans are looking forward to seeing this storyline unfold and speculating on its possible outcomes. Eileen Davidson’s performance is winning praise. Tucker will ask Audra why she seems to be so hell-bent on revenge. But she’ll deny it has anything to do with vengeance. “That’s your game and your weakness,” she’ll tell her ex. So, Tucker will ask what it is she wants. “I want Glissade,” she’ll reply. “I want it all.”
Meanwhile, Kyle will meet up with Mariah and will be filled with praise for Harrison Locke’s (Redding Munsell) new nanny Claire, including how she’s overcome everything her evil aunt did to her.
But Mariah will seem surprised. “All this of this admiration for Claire,” Mariah will say to her friend. “Is there maybe something else going on?”
