Young and Restless Spoilers July 12: Victor Has an Order for Adam

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, July 12, end the week with another Victor ultimatum, as he lets Adam do what he needs his son to do for him now. It’s not a request. (We have these questions for Y&R)
My Way or the Highway
Victor (Eric Braeden — who encouraged people to vote) told Claire (Hayley Erin) that his first and only priority in life is his family. (He also told her he grew up in an orphanage. Did you know that? He never mentions it.) That’s why Victor was totes understanding about Adam (Mark Grossman) needing to put Connor (Judah Mackey) first.
And now Adam has done that. Isn’t that child better yet? Why is this taking so long? Adam must be doing something wrong. Oh, well, nobody can be the kind of awesome dad that Victor is. Anyway, enough about what Connor needs and what Adam needs. It’s time to re-focus on what Victor needs. Victor needs Adam to get on board with destroying Jack (Peter Bergman). You got that?
Safe Space
Adam has more than Connor on his mind, though. He also has the whole sleeping with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and deciding to keep it a secret thing.
Chelsea is also determined to keep it a secret, especially from Billy (Jason Thompson). And the best defense that Chelsea has ever known is a good defense. This means that because she’s feeling guilty, Chelsea is telling everyone they must respect her boundaries. Sure, they were doing it before. Everyone is doing whatever Chelsea tells them lest she decides to go crazy again and blame everyone else for it. But she just wants to repeat that.
Forgive Me Not
We were pretty sure that Summer (Allison Lanier) had finally forgiven Sally (Courtney Hope) for hooking her up with her dream job years ago. Summer even hired Sally to work for her. But we guess Sally hasn’t done enough groveling to Summer yet. Because here she goes again.
