Young and Restless Spoilers February 5: Diane Takes Center Stage
Will it be Jack or Kyle she’s addressing?
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, February 5, clear the decks for Diane to come to an important decision.
Next on The Young and the Restless
Since returning to Genoa City, Diane (Susan Walters) has been run through the wringer. Absolutely, on the one hand, she was 110% percent in the wrong to have abandoned Kyle (Michael Mealor) and let him think she was dead for over a decade. But Kyle kept saying he forgave her. So, she was not in the wrong to take him at his word.
Then, Jack (Peter Bergman) forgave her. And Diane foolishly assumed they were the only ones that mattered. Then Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) decided to drive her out of town. They settled for merely telling Jack that Diane was a bad, bad person.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), on the other hand, framed Diane for murdering her. So, you know, that escalated quickly. And that was all before Kyle decided to betray both his parents and put Diane in the position of begging his forgiveness…for taking the job he told her to take. Well, you know what? Diane has had enough. And here’s how that’s going to from now on.
My Life Flashed Before My Eyes
Victor (Eric Braeden) was recently shot. He almost died. (Well, not really; he’s much too manly for that, but, you know, as a concept.) So now Victor has some things to say to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He’s going to fake some vulnerabilities. The better to manipulate you with, my dear.
Life Experience
But Diane and Victor aren’t the only ones offering their wisdom to the (relative—to them) youth. Jack also mentors Billy (Jason Thompson). We expect Billy to scoff. Because Billy always scoffs when someone who knows more than he does speaks. It’s the only way Billy can feel good about himself. And believe that, this time, he’ll actually succeed at something.
