Who Will Help Sharon?
Recently, a Reddit post captured the frustration of many The Young and the Restless fans. It stated, “I hope Sharon gets other voices… like Rey Rosales as her conscience.” Others echo a similar sentiment because they are unhappy with how Sharon has been portrayed lately. They don’t like how she grapples with her mental health.
One fan commented, “Full disclosure… I am displeased with this story overall.” They think watching Sharon (and Ashley) being shown as nuts has run its course. Meanwhile, another fan pointed out how all female characters are portrayed as either hysterical or outright “batshit crazy.” It’s clear that viewers are yearning for a more balanced narrative.
Moreover, the third one expressed their desire to see Rey or Dylan after citing Sharon’s terrible handling of Heather’s body. So, the desire for Rey’s return is palpable, especially after the dramatic turn of events in Sharon’s life. Speaking of Rey, there’s renewed hope for his return! Why is that? It is because Jordi Vilasuso is back in the soap scene!
He portrays Justin Ramos in The Bay and is quite excited about his new role. In addition, he’s touched by the support from fans who still miss Rey. Reflecting on his Y&R exit, Jordi was surprised Rey was killed off after signing a new contract. Yet, he’s grateful for the love from viewers. Fans eagerly await to see if Rey will return to offer Sharon the guidance she needs.
