Many daytime stars have appeared on two or more soaps, like in the case of The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont. Before the CBS soap actor played Dollar Bill, he broke into the genre with a part on Days of Our Lives as Carlo Forenza then made a name for himself as Brad Carlton on The Young and the Restless, a role he played for over 24 years — and during that time, his character made quite a few enemies. One being, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

However, in the real world, Diamont and Bergman are good pals and they recently took some time out to get together for the latter’s birthday on June 11.

“We had a beautiful dinner last night [at] Giorgio Baldi Restaurant with our dear friends, the Bergmans, celebrating Peter’s birthday!” Diamont stated then cheered, “Happy Birthday to my brother from another mother.”

He also shared a cute photo with his former co-star, along with their wives, Cindy Ambuehl and Mariellen Bergman, as the man of honor prepared to blow out a birthday candle atop a sweet treat.

Two of Bergman’s castmates jumped into the comments to express their thoughts on seeing the guys together… Lauralee Bell (Christine) thought their reunion was “so great!” while Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) stated, “Amazing!” And fans loved it as well with Lei Warren making a good point, “Can you imagine the faces of the other guests as you all walked into the restaurant? Love watching both of you for decades!”
