Rage Was All the Rage in Salem on Days of our Lives
On the May 31 episode of Days of Our Lives, Nicole clobbered her baby’s kidnapper. Meanwhile, Bobby unleashed his scary, true personality on Jada and Stephanie.
Sloan Showed up at the DiMera Mansion
Although she’s supposed to be hiding out in Italy with a new identity, Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) snuck into the DiMera mansion when Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was alone, apparently to apologize to her. Of course, Nicole would have none of it, and the more Sloan talked, the more EJ’s wife got enraged. The lawyer recounted the whole sordid tale of Dimitri (Peter Porte) showing up with the baby right after her miscarriage and felt it was fate intervening. That’s when Nicole hauled back and slugged Sloan in a most satisfying moment!
Sloan said she deserved it, and Nicole admitted that she initially felt bad and identified with the schemer because of her own miscarriages. But the more they continued talking, the angrier Nicole got, citing how she destroyed her and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) lives with her lies. Sloan said, “Didn’t you do the exact same thing?” referring to the time when Nicole swapped Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) baby with Mia’s (Taylor Spreitler), passing it off as her and EJ’s (Daniel Feuerriegel) child. In a fit of rage, Nicole roared like an animal, and you could see the blind fury on her face. Never mind that this current story is something of a retread of Nicole’s past actions, this took the cake and made for exciting viewing. More, please.
Scary Bobby Emerged
Meanwhile, a nervous Stephanie (Abigail Klein) joined Jada (Elia Cantu) at Everett’s (Blake Berris) place to stage an intervention. He had just come off of an erotic dream with Jada and was curious why both women were there. When it became apparent what they were up to, Bobby Stein emerged, and he immediately hit on Jada. The women tried to explain that he had a split personality, and he put on his creepy face, referring to Everett as another person. They pressed further until Bobby finally unleashed his anger and screamed at them to get out in an unexpectedly shocking moment.
Pop Culture Reference of the Day
Leo was talking to Melinda and stated, “I just ran into Eric Brady, who told me that Sloan confessed to everything and then hit the yellow brick road to Nowheresville.” Melinda told him that not everything required a Wizard of Oz reference, and he replied, “And not everything requires a snark, Elphaba.” When she didn’t know what the name meant, he explained, “Elphaba. The Wicked Witch of the West played brilliantly by Margaret Hamilton.”
