The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, July 17 reveals Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will be furious when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) threatens to take Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to Paris.
Also coming up, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will try to give Lucy Romalotti (Lily O’Briant) the brush off. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will argue with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). And Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will get bad news.
Y&R spoilers tease Adam will tell Sally he took the job at Newman Media. And he’ll confide Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). “If anything, me being there might help Jack,” he’ll explain, adding he can control the narrative.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam And Chelsea Hang Out At The Park
“With Victor Newman?” Sally will reply. “Yeah, good luck with that.” She’ll tell him he needs to have a different relationship with his son than he has with his own father. And she’s concerned he’ll follow Victor down the same dark path. “Maybe you don’t know me as well as you think you do,” Adam will reply and take off.
Sally will head out and meet up with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). She’ll confide that she had an argument with Adam and he’s going back to run Newman Media. “The problem is that Victor wants Adam to be his corporate hit man,” Sally will add.
She’ll say Victor is after Jack and she’s afraid Adam will be caught in the middle. For her part, Audra will admit that Victor is her secret investor and Sally will tell her to be careful. But she won’t be worried. “No matter who’s fighting the war, I know I’m the one who’s going to come out on top.”
As for Adam, he’ll head to Chancellor Park and run into Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). She’ll say she talked to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). “Good,” he’ll reply. “Because we can’t keep leaning on each other, Chelsea.”
Meanwhile, Heather will talk to her boyfriend and daughter about everything she’s planned for their trip to Portugal. But Lucy Romalotti (Lily O’Briant) will say she doesn’t want to go. She’ll tell her mom she could stay with her dad, because he doesn’t want to go either. So, Heather will say she’ll go alone and storm away.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Faith Isn’t Thrilled To See Lucy
Lucy will spot Faith walk into the coffee shop and she’ll run over to her. She’ll tell her she has great news. “I’m not going to Portugal anymore, so we can hang out all summer.” Faith will not look pleased by that news at all.
But Lucy won’t get it. She’ll ask Faith if they can hang out tonight. Faith will say she’d like to but she’s going to a party, at the Athletic Club pool. “Well that sounds amazing, can I come too?” Lucy will ask and Faith will make a face.
At Society, Summer will overhear Kyle booking a trip to Paris for he and Audra, and she’ll ask if he’s lost his mind. But he’ll warn her not to try to take advantage while he’s gone. “I heard from your lawyer,” Kyle will add. “You are delusional if you think you can get primary custody of Harrison. There’s not a chance in hell.”
He’ll also threaten to bring Harrison and Claire to Paris with him. Kyle will say he wasn’t thinking about taking them a few minutes ago. But now, why not? Then Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will walk in and Summer will fill her in about Kyle’s trip with Audra.
Of course, Phyllis will take issue with Kyle dragging Audra back into Summer’s life. “How do we stop her?” Phyllis will ask her daughter. “How do we get rid of her?”
Finally, Kyle will return home and ask Claire if she has an up to date passport. Surprisingly, she’ll say she does and she’ll ask him what’s going on. Kyle will tell her he’s going to Paris with Audra for some meetings. “We chartered a jet,” he’ll add. “So I was wondering, what if you and Harrison came along with me?” But how will Claire respond?
