It was another successful charity event for The Young & The Restless star Kate Linder (Esther)! The actress was joined by co-stars Christian LeBlanc (Michael) and Bryton James (Devon) for another Kate Linder & Friends Charity Tea on June 2 which was emceed by Jeff McArthur, the co-host of Global Television’s Morning Show.

“I’m so grateful to Christian, Bryton, and Jeff,” Linder told Soaps In Depth. “All of their hard work paid off. Together, we were able to raise $50,000 for Canada Cares. It was a terrific day and everyone had a fabulous time and we were able to help many caregivers at the same time.”

Linder and Robin Wyss created the Kate Linder & Friends Charity Teas back in 1998 to help benefit charities in Canada and give Y&R fans the opportunity to meet some of their favorite stars up close and personal while raising money for worthy causes.

Given that the event was held in Toronto, it’s understandable that many fans weren’t able to make it. But if you scroll through the gallery of photos below, it’ll be like you were right there with the stars!

    Among the day’s events was an auction that included items from the soap like this blouse that Linder actually wore as Esther!
    
    LeBlanc was amazed when Bryton James auctioned off the script from his very first episode of Y&R.
    
    Salma Jaffer and Mira Grondin dedicated this year’s Kate Linder & Friends Tea to Linder’s late mother, Molly Wolveck, who passed away last year.
    
    Linder and her co-stars also presented some awards, like the Canada Cares Family Caregiver Recognition Award, which was given to Emily Har.
    
    Canada Cares board member Barbara Kaufman announced that Annette Neufield had won the Canada Cares One Wish Award, which the Y&R actors helped present.
    
    Following the afternoon tea, Lori Moore and friend – and longtime Tea sponsor — Jane Jackson, hosted Linder, LeBlanc, and James for a celebratory dinner.
    
    Canadian Morning Show host Jeff McArthur joined the Y&R stars on stage to emcee the event.
