Days Of Our Lives spoilers – Hardest Part Of Filming
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Susan opened up to SOD about filming Doug’s death so soon after Bill’s passing.
Susan admitted that filming these scenes “stirred up a lot” and that it was incredibly difficult for her. Susan recalls the hardest scene for her to film,
“The hardest moment was going into the room after Doug Williams had passed, and there was a body double in the bed. I was talking to the body double as though it were Billy, who had just gone. Now it was Doug who had just passed. So that was hard.”
As for how Susan feels about how Doug’s death and funeral were played out, she is “very pleased.”

Susan mentioned that the service was videotaped. However, Susan hasn’t been able to look at it yet. The actress explained,

In a separate interview with SOD, actress Sal Stowers (Lani Price-Grant) said some touching words about Susan’s strength,
“This was Susan’s real-life circumstance that she had just gone through, and she was having to relive it all over again. I just want to speak to the woman that Susan is. For her to carry herself with such poise and grace through this… She was so put together during this really hard time in her life. It was absolutely beautiful and sad to watch, but I was really impressed by that.”
