Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease mama bear moments are ahead on the soap-when Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) returns, she’ll intervene in her son’s forced marriage plans. When she learns Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) being forced to marry Sophia Choi (currently Madelyn Kientz) she’ll go head to head with Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) busting Sophia’s lies wide open!

Theresa will be astounded that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) didn’t demand a paternity test on the baby Sophia’s said to be carrying-Theresa, better than anyone knows things can be faked!

Brady is up against considerable pressure from Sophia’s straight-laced mother Amy, who disapproves of his being a single parent the way it is.

And with his attention being demanded by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to help find their runaway daughter Rachel Black (currently Finley Rose Slater) he’s stretched pretty thin.

Theresa’s prison release couldn’t come at a better time now that Tate is in a big mess of marriage trouble.

She also knows better than anyone that a forced marriage because of a teenage pregnancy usually doesn’t work, and the two will be sentenced to a lifetime of unhappiness.

DOOL Spoilers – Theresa Donavan Learns Sophia Choi Has Been After Tate Since The Prom Where He Was Arrested

Theresa does some digging and learns Sophia has been after Tate since the prom where he was arrested, accused of giving Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) the drugs that caused her coma.

She also learns that Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) had also been involved with Sophia at various times-he was her date at the same prom.

It’s a touchy situation with bringing up the subject of someone’s daughter actually having lost her virginity long ago and become pregnant from someone else. Theresa knows it’s an offensive thing to bring up, especially since Amy is so judgmental and sure Theresa herself is an immoral person!

It’s going to be tough to get a sample of DNA from a baby not yet born, and Theresa plots to figure out how to disprove the baby’s paternity.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – How Is Theresa Donavan Going To Prove The Baby’s Not Tate’s?

Theresa has to have proof that the baby Sophia is carrying is not really her son’s in order to convince Amy to call off the wedding-but how is she going to get it? She discovers she can have a non-invasive prenatal paternity test formed if she can get a drop of blood from Sophia.

She won’t have problems getting a cheek swab from Tate to compare with the blood drop; she comes up with a plan.

She decides to have Sophia meet her for a meal, so she can get to know her “future daughter in law” better, and as they share nonalcoholic drinks, Theresa gets clumsy!

She apologizes profusely as Sophia cuts a finger on a broken glass, and cleans up the glass and gets her a bandage-she keeps some in her purse.

DOOL Spoilers – Proof In Hand, She Presents It To A Flabbergasted Amy

Theresa quickly gets the fresh blood from the glass and Tate’s cheek swab to a happily cooperating Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) after explaining the problem to her. Sarah gets the test done, known as a “NIPP” test, and gets the results which show Tate is not a match!

Tate has a suspicion who might be the baby’s father, but it’s not his problem now, and nor is it Theresa’s. Armed with unquestionable proof, she brings the test results to a flabbergasted Amy, who of course argues her daughter must have been coerced to give the blood.

However, there are the results in black and white, and Sarah’s happy to confirm them-Tate’s out of the forced marriage and Sophia’s in even more trouble with her strict parents!
