Days of Our Lives spoilers recall how Alex and Stephanie fell apart the first time. So, this reunion is nothing short of shocking. It all began when Alex intercepted an important call from Chad to Stephanie. Consequently, our girl couldn’t be there for her mother, Kayla, when she “died.” Of course, that betrayal was a dealbreaker.

Stephanie walked away, leaving Alex in the dust. Cut to the present, these two have found their way back to each other. But what’s different this time? Klein admits, “I think this second time around, we know each other more. We know each other better.” She gushes, “I’m thrilled to be working with Rob again. He is fun to work with.”

Furthermore, the DAYS diva feels that their dynamic feels different, both off-screen and onscreen. What about Wilson? He seconds her opinion while excited for round two of Alex and Stephanie. Reciprocating the love, Robert says, “Abigail is an absolute rock star of an actress. I love working with her.”

Can They Make It Work This Time?

As for their onscreen relationship, Wilson thinks the characters have a “great relationship” and can’t wait to witness what’s ahead. But hey, a true Peacock soap reunion is incomplete without some scandal! Right after reconciling, the duo is caught in a compromising situation—on the Body and Soul set.

According to Abigail, “Stephanie has to do her own crisis management.” After all, the woman owns and operates her own publicity company. However, that wasn’t ideal, throwing her off her game. “That’s why she was really frantic with wanting to end things with Alex,” the actress explains. 

Interestingly, Klein is relieved that the couple weathered the storm and stayed together. But wait, Alex Kiriakis has a history of being a “love ’em and leave ’em kind” guy. Wilson insists, “Alex is older and wiser. He’s a little bit more settled down.” Yep, he’s wiser enough to invest in a relationship.
