Belle (Martha Madison) set a trap for EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). It didn’t work. But it didn’t exactly clear him, either. She still has her suspicions about the guy she’s sleeping with. However, she isn’t ready to quit sleeping with him quite yet. Innocent until proven guilty, right?

After all, Belle is an officer of the court. EJ is an officer of the court. They know how it works. Neither would want to completely cut the cord on a good thing if it turns out EJ isn’t actually guilty, and Belle isn’t actually going to prosecute him. And if it turns out he is a bad guy, and Belle needs to punish him, well, that sounds kind of hot, too.

Coming Clean

Brady (Eric Martsolf) was so happy when they found Rachel (Finley Rose Slater), safe and sound, that he didn’t pay as much attention as he should to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) acting more suspicious than usual. And that’s saying something.

But now, enough time has passed — and Rachel hasn’t magically reformed — that Brady has calmed down…and taken a look at Kristen in a new light. Brady has questions. Kristen has answers. Will she feel like sharing them? We’re betting…no.

Round Up the Usual Suspects

Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) lips are the latest in lie-detection technology, it would seem. “Rafe” (Galen Gering) kissed her, and she got the heebie-jeebies. But not just because being kissed out of the blue isn’t just heebie-jeebie-inducing, it’s actually assault, but because it reminded her of the last time she was hit on in such a manner.

This gave her the notion that Rafe might not be Rafe. (Something no other member of his family has considered. At least Gabi [Cherie Jimenez] floated the possibility of a mental breakdown or physical complications from his coma; everyone else is just shrugging their shoulders and figuring, “There’s nothing we can do.”) Stephanie has been hit on by fake Rafe before, so she goes running to Jada (Elia Cantu) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) with her theory.
