Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings reveal that Salem is about to get a fresh new face! Yep, Hank Northrop is officially joining the Peacock soap, but doesn’t his name ring a bell? It should. Hank is the son of DAYS legend Wayne Northrop (Roman Brady) and General Hospital diva Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe). Sadly, his big debut comes with a bittersweet twist. Find out below!

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Hank Northrop Joins the Peacock Soap

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings reveal that debut could be nothing but a career milestone for Hank. However, he landed the role just weeks after his father’s passing in November 2024. In an exclusive chat with TV Insider, Hank opened up about how the personal events overshadowed the audition process.

“I did the audition, and I felt good about it, but my focus was on my father,’ he shared. Moreover, Northop got a callback but had to wait for the “most magical thing” to happen on January 9– his birthday. The debutante revealed, “I got the call saying, ‘Congratulations, you’ve booked Days of Our Lives.’” What a full-circle moment!

Currently, the DOOL heads are keeping Hank’s character details under wraps. Still, he’ll be sharing plenty of screen time with James Reynolds, aka the legendary Abe Carver. With legendary Reynolds showing him the ropes, Hank is in excellent hands.

As for his career, Northrop has been making a name for himself in Hollywood with different roles. He was featured in The Morning Show, S.W.A.T., Insecure, and CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful. Did you catch him waiting tables at Il Giardino? Now, he’s entering the DAYS universe, and speculation is running wild!
