At Finn’s place, he and Liz help Chase get ready as Violet practices throwing flowers. Later, Liz checks in on Finn and asks how his dad is. He says he is good, but Gregory probably wouldn’t tell them if he wasn’t up for this. He’s worried his dad might not physically make it through the ceremony.
Finn sends Chase to check on their dad. Finn then steps out, hands an envelope to Ned, and says he’ll see him at the church. Chase comes out with Gregory, and Liz pins a boutonniere on him.
Gregory goes over his notes, and Finn tells him this should be a walk in the park after years of lecturing college students. Gregory just doesn’t want to let Chase down. Finn says he won’t. Chase thanks him for being the best dad ever, and they embrace.

Outside, Gregory and the others arrive, and Liz takes Violet and Gregory in. Finn tells his brother this is a big day, and he’s honored to be standing by his side. Chase says it means a lot to him, too.
In the bride’s room, Lois tells Brook Lynn she has that special glow today. Brook Lynn owes it to Chase, but Lois says she owes some of it to herself for fighting for the man she loves. Brook Lynn can’t believe she’s getting married today.
Lois does her daughter’s hair and gets emotional, as this is the last time she’ll get to do her hair as an un-unmarried lady. She cries that being her mother has been the best thing in her life, and she’s loved every second of it. Brook Lynn says just because she’s marrying Chase doesn’t mean she won’t need her mom, she’ll always need her.
Tracy stops in to check on Brook Lynn. Tracy is so happy for her. Tracy mentions that it took her so long to find Luke, so Brook Lynn is lucky to have found Chase so early. Tracy tells her that she is spectacular inside and out. Tracy brings her a gift, a bracelet that was Lila’s. It’s been hers for years and now it’s Brook Lynn’s. Tracy says she’s a lot like her mother, she has hope and tries to see the best in people. Tracy says while she’ll continue to be a colossal pain in the ass, she adores her and is so grateful for her. They hug.

As the wedding march begins, Dante walks Lois down the aisle, followed by Violet as the flower girl. Willow then walks down the aisle as a bridesmaid, followed by Maxie. Eventually, Ned walks Brook Lynn down the aisle.
At the altar, Chase tells Brook Lynn that it feels like it’s been forever since he saw her. She says he saw her last night. Gregory says if they are finished, they should get started, and the audience chuckles. Gregory welcomes everyone today to this joyous occasion. He then begins to choke and struggle a little with his words a little, his voice turning raspy. He pushes through, and as he continues to struggle, Liz takes Violet’s hand. Suddenly, Gregory seizes up.
